With the AX Multibox Twin UHD, you get a powerful Enigma2 Linux satellite receiver for high-definition television up to 4K/UHD (2160p) – ideal for demanding users who want fast switching times, flexible reception and network functions, and an expandable software platform. Thanks to a quad-core CPU (4× 1.6 GHz), 1 GB DDR3 RAM, and 8 GB eMMC flash, the system runs smoothly – from channel lists and EPG to plugins, skins, and picons.
Twin tuner for more freedom when watching TV
The integrated twin satellite tuner (2× DVB-S2 / DVB-S2X depending on version) opens up significantly more possibilities than a single receiver: for example, picture-in-picture (PiP) or – with the appropriate configuration/software – watching and recording in parallel or using timeshift.
Strong picture and sound quality – ready for modern UHD TVs
The box supports 4K playback up to 60 fps and modern video standards such as HEVC/H.265 (including 10-bit decoding). The signal is transmitted cleanly to current TVs via HDMI 2.0a. HDR/HDR10 are supported for better contrast and color management (depending on image/setup).
An optical S/PDIF output is also included for audio – ideal for soundbars or AV receivers.

Depending on the image installed, many functions and extensions are available, e.g., additional EPG variants, channel list tools, streaming extensions, media library integration, skins, and much more. Multiboot is also supported (depending on the software version).
Comfort & efficiency
Operation is via a multilingual OSD, EPG, favorites lists, and a virtually unlimited TV/radio channel list. Convenient for everyday use: fast switching times and very low standby consumption of approx. 0.5 W.
The external 12 V power supply also makes the box particularly suitable for flexible locations (e.g., mobile setups).
