The torque screwdriver has a 1/4 inch (6.3 mm) hexagon socket bit holder with a clamping ball. The adjustable torque from 0.05 to 0.6 Nm can be set to the desired value using a knurled screw, tolerance (+/-6%). The set value can then be locked in place. The torque screwdriver has a total length of 105 mm. Useful accessories include an extension (110 mm) and a bit adapter from 1/4 inch (6.3 mm) to 4 mm (5/32 inch) bits.
Technical product description
When the set torque is reached, an audible click should be heard and a click should be felt. If this is not the case, please readjust the small screw on the screwdriver so that the screwdriver clicks audibly.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When not in use, return the torque screwdriver to its starting position (0 Nm). This relieves the preload and prevents premature wear. Each torque screwdriver is individually tested and certified in accordance with DIN ISO 6789 and ASME B107.300-2010 torque standards (certificate included with the product).
CARE AND MAINTENANCE The torque screwdriver is a precision instrument. To ensure tolerance, calibration must be carried out regularly and is the responsibility of the owner. The recommended calibration interval is every 12 months, or less frequently depending on the application. The product is lubricated by the manufacturer for lifelong use and should not be oiled additionally. Please do not throw or use in conjunction with a hammer, as this is a precision measuring instrument. Ideally, always return it to the box after use to keep it free of dirt and moisture. Never disassemble the torque screwdriver yourself. If you need to repair the torque screwdriver, please contact a qualified service station. Improper repair attempts may damage this instrument, causing it to no longer meet the accuracy requirements of DIN ISO 6789 and ASME 8107.300-2010.
