QUICK soldering tips are manufactured using state-of-the-art production processes with the lowest possible manufacturing tolerances.
The permanent soldering tip is made of iron-coated electrolytic copper and has been additionally chrome-plated. This gives it a particularly long service life and high tip durability.
The special feature of the 303 tip type is the external thermocouple.
For this reason, the temperature is not measured in the soldering tip as usual, but directly on the outside of the soldering tip. The arrangement of the thermal sensor thus provides a more realistic representation of your soldering point temperature. In conjunction with the sophisticated closed-loop temperature control (PID) of the Quick 202D soldering station, the soldering tip is reheated extremely quickly and accurately. This minimizes temperature fluctuations at your soldering point and minimizes stress on your components.
Suitable for both leaded and lead-free soldering.
