This permanent soldering tip was specially developed for the GALLUNOPTIMAL SPRINT65, PIONIER110, and PIONIER1 soldering tools and is the right choice if you need a little more mass and contact surface at the soldering point. The straight tip with a 45° bevel and a diameter of 3.0 mm combines excellent heat transfer with precise guidance – ideal for heavier soldering points on cables, sockets, connectors, medium-sized solder pads, and ground planes.
The bevelled shape allows you to work with either the narrow edge or the wider surface, depending on the situation, as well as to apply solder precisely and heat soldering points evenly. This geometry ensures reproducible, clean results, especially for series work or recurring repairs on identical assemblies.
As a permanent soldering tip, the GO960-3C has a robust, multi-layer coating. This protects the copper inside from corrosion and erosion by the solder and significantly extends the service life compared to simple, uncoated tips. With proper care—e.g., cleaning with brass wool or silicone/copper brushes instead of wet sponges—you maintain very good wettability and save time and money in the long term when changing tips.
The soldering tip is part of the GALLUNOPTIMAL GO960 series and is precisely matched to the soldering tools mentioned above. The shaft diameter and inner diameter ensure a secure fit on the piston and guarantee efficient heat transfer from the heating element to the soldering point.
