Black Universal Aluminium Roof Mast Kit for Ø 60 mm Masts – with Mast Foot, Clamp, Collar and Cap

The AS44360 is a roof mast installation kit designed for suitable Ø 60 mm antenna masts on pitched roofs.

The kit combines a black aluminium roof flashing with mast support components and weather-protection parts for the roof penetration.

According to the available product data, the set includes an approximately 450 × 500 mm black aluminium roof flashing, a mast clamp for Ø 60 mm, a galvanised mast foot, galvanised steel mounting hardware, a black UV-resistant sealing collar and a UV-resistant plastic mast cap.

For Ø 60 mm antenna masts

The system is designed for mast tubes with:

– Ø 60 mm outside diameter

The antenna mast itself is not included.

Approx. 450 × 500 mm roof flashing

The roof flashing measures approximately:

– 450 × 500 mm

– 45 × 50 cm

According to the product information, the construction combines aluminium with UV-resistant plastic.

Adaptable aluminium flashing

The aluminium section can be formed to follow various common roof tile profiles.

This makes the system suitable for many pitched-roof installations.

It should not, however, be assumed to fit every roof tile geometry without checking the actual roof covering.

Black finish

The black version is particularly suitable for visual integration into:

– black roofs

– anthracite roof coverings

– other dark roof surfaces

Ø 60 mm mast clamp

The kit includes a mast clamp designed for:

– Ø 60 mm masts

Galvanised mast foot

A galvanised mast foot is included to provide a lower mechanical support point for the mast.

Galvanised steel mounting hardware

Mounting hardware made from galvanised steel is included according to the product configuration.

The roof substructure must be capable of carrying the antenna and wind loads.

Black UV-resistant sealing collar

The supplied collar forms the weather-protected transition around the mast where it passes through the roof flashing.

Weather-protected rather than universally waterproof

The complete installation can provide a weather-protected mast penetration when correctly installed.

Performance depends on:

– correct shaping of the flashing

– collar installation

– roof overlap

– roof pitch

– water drainage

– treatment of the roof underlay

The system should therefore not be described as universally waterproof regardless of installation.

UV-resistant mast cap

A UV-resistant plastic mast cap is also included.

It closes the open top of the mast and helps reduce direct entry of rain, dirt and debris.

It is not a completely waterproof pipe seal.

Mechanical support and roof penetration

Unlike a simple roof flashing, this kit also includes mast support components.

Nevertheless, the complete antenna load must be transferred into a suitable structural part of the roof.

The roof flashing and sealing collar must not carry the antenna wind load.

Satellite and terrestrial antenna applications

Depending on the overall mechanical design, the system can be used for suitable:

– satellite antennas

– DVB-T/T2 antennas

– DAB/DAB+ antennas

– FM antennas

– radio antennas

No confirmed maximum satellite dish diameter is specified in the available product data.
