4-Hole Steel Mast Clamp for Tubes Ø 48–50 mm – Galvanically Zinc Plated

The AS46050 is a robust four-hole mast clamp designed to secure antenna and round mast tubes with an outside diameter between Ø 48 and 50 mm to a suitable structural support.

Typical applications include mounting an antenna mast to a roof rafter, timber beam or another suitable load-bearing structure.

According to the available product data, the clamp is manufactured from 3 mm steel sheet and has a galvanically zinc-plated surface.

Two screws are included according to the available product information. Their exact dimensions and suitability for a particular substrate are not confirmed and should therefore be checked before installation.

For tubes Ø 48–50 mm

The clamp is intended for mast tubes with outside diameters between:

Ø 48 mm

Ø 50 mm

The actual tube diameter should be checked before installation.

Four-hole mounting design

The four-hole design allows the clamp to be fixed at several points to a suitable support structure.

Possible mounting locations include suitable:

roof rafters

timber beams

structural supports

3 mm steel sheet

The clamp is manufactured from:

3 mm steel sheet

according to the available product data.

Galvanically zinc plated

The steel surface is galvanically zinc plated to support corrosion protection in typical antenna mounting environments.

No confirmed zinc coating thickness is stated.

Roof rafter applications

One typical use is securing a Ø 48–50 mm antenna mast to a structurally sound roof rafter.

The roof structure must be capable of carrying the antenna and wind loads transferred through the mast.

Not a complete mast system

The AS46050 is a single mechanical mounting component.

Depending on mast length and antenna load, additional clamps or support points may be required.

Satellite antenna applications

The clamp may form part of a suitable satellite mast installation.

No confirmed maximum satellite dish size is specified.

Suitability depends on the complete system, including:

mast wall thickness

unsupported mast length

antenna weight

wind area

support spacing

structural support

Other antenna applications

The clamp may also be used in suitable installations for:

DVB-T/T2 antennas

DAB/DAB+ antennas

FM antennas

suitable radio antennas

Replacement and retrofit work

The AS46050 can be used when replacing a damaged existing mast clamp or adding another suitable fixing point to an existing mast structure.

Included screws

According to the available product data, two screws are included.

Their use must be checked against the actual mounting surface. Additional or different fixing hardware may be required depending on the installation.
